Stunningly fresh and young tasting, with a dollop of cherry, pine, vanilla right in the centre of the palette. Good gourmand experience and a luscious finish. What a treat. (Rebouche in 2014)
This famous vineyard derives its name from its geographical position on a steep slope where the workers would hurt their feet when digging the soil. Bouchard Père & Fils has owned 38 ares of this Premier Cru since 1775, the year when the House also bought its very first vineyards, in Les Caillerets.
