The quality is mostly at least good and the prices stay very reasonable (about 30€ for this one). With its 59% Cabernet Sauvignon, 27% Merlot, 8% Cabernet Franc and 6% Petit Verdot this wine has a deep, young black-red color with aromas of cherry-liqueur, cassis, cedar, tobacco and a touch of new oak, with on the palate different red and black fruits, abundant very ripe tannins, a perfect acidity and a 30sec.finish. This is one of the best vintages of this Château I drank so far, on par with the excellent 1989 and 2010.
