Christian Moreau, Chablis, Vaillons 1er Cru 2013
92 points Wine Enthusiast
This creamy wine has a really ripe character. Acidity comes from the cooler location of the vineyard, while the warmth of the summer shows through in the yellow fruits as well as in the fresh, crunchy red apples. A textured edge conveys minerality and leaves a fresh, clean taste in the mouth. (RV) (10/2015)
Vinous
Ripe peach lifted by lime on the nose and palate. Lovely sappy wine with more inner-mouth tension and less jammy fruit character than the village offering. More Chablis energy here but this wine is nevertheless very easy to drink today. Should go biscuity with time in bottle. (ST) (08/2015)
