Patrick Jasmin, Cote-Rotie 2006
93 points Jeb Dunnuck
Elegant and finesse driven (a hallmark of the estate), with beautiful violet, iron, smoked meat, peppercorn, and spiced red fruits, the 2006 Domaine Jasmin Côte-Rôtie comes from 11 different plots that are spread across the appellation. Showing the more delicate side of both the region, and vintage, this fleshes out with air, showing a medium bodied, silky personality, juicy acidity, and a powerful, long finish that has you coming back for another sip. Delicious now, and hard to put down, I would consume bottle over the coming 10-12 years. (3/2011)
