Château La Castille is a wine label produced by La Foundation de La Castille, under the auspices of the Catholic Diocese of Frejus-Toulon. The history of the property dates to the 15th century, and over the centuries it was owned by a series of Provencal aristocrats and businessmen. In 1922 the widow of the final private owner bequeathed the estate to the regional diocese with the intention of turning it into a seminary. Today it is a seminary, a hotel for families interested in rural vacations, and a winery. The domaine includes more than 300 acres and the estate produces white, rosé and red wines.
Blend: Syrah, Cabernet Sauvignon - using the best plots and grapes on the estate
