Black fruits, red fruits, spices, figs, tobacco. Great aromatic nose. Complex and vibrant. Couldn't have guessed this was a 1986 and frankly quite mindblown after knowing it is a 1986 barbaresco. One of my top 3 for the night!

I double decanted and served in 2.5 hours. The best bottle so far this time. Pale cloudy brick red color, expensive and expressive nose of floral and herbs, smooth palate but still had catchy tannin, sour fruits after taste.
