It was a vineyard in the late 19th century when German immigrants began growing grapes, but it was replanted exclusively to Cabernet Sauvignon in 1968. In 1977 Patrick Campbell purchased the property. Today the winemaker is Randall Watkins and the estate makes Cabernet Sauvignon and Rose.\u003c\/span\u003e\u003cbr\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003e\u003cspan\u003e94 CellarTracker\u003cbr\u003e\u003c\/span\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cblockquote\u003e\n\u003cp\u003e\u003cspan\u003eDark garnet, a little clearing at the rim, no browning. This is just lovely. Shoe polish, black cherries that are slightly underripe, truffles. A little green\/herby, a little bloody. Medium + texture, this is still holding well and did not come apart in the 6 hours we had it open.
