The Seavey property has such a great OG feel to it, highly recommend stopping by if you're in the area.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eTasting notes (served blind) of red and black cherry, bramble fruits, smoked pipe tobacco\/cigar box, wet vineyard floor, truffle, graphite and scorched earth. This was still fresh and vibrant for being 13 years old - testament to Jim's style of winemaking and what Seavey can do.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThis is just getting into that more mature\/tertiary window where I really start to love Napa Valley Cabernet. I would recommend opening a bottle soon if you have a few and want to check in, you will not be disappointed. Aged 20 months in 60% new French oak, it is a big, lusty, full-bodied, muscular Cabernet Sauvignon that is more approachable than most Seavey wines are at this age.
