Merry Edwards Winery was founded in 1997 and produces critically acclaimed terroir-driven Pinot Noirs and Sauvignon Blanc using site-specific viticulture in the Russian River Valley and Sonoma Coast appellations. Over two decades, Merry assembled a stellar collection of vineyards and with her meticulous attention to detail crafted Pinot Noirs of immense depth, elegant structure and exceptional longevity.

The pure and precise cherryish fruit that marks the best Russian River Pinots is in full evidence right from start here, and it stays the course with remarkable persistence from the wine's deep, keenly defined nose all the way through to its lengthy finish. Moderately full-bodied, very well balanced and showing a fine sense of polish and crafting, this one tempts early drinking but is structured for keeping and will improve for the next half-dozen years.
