Exchange | Alcohol & Non-Alcohol.
If an error is discovered after order is placed please contact us immediately (same day) and we will do our best to accommodate your request. Exchange requests must be done in writing, prior to shipment release. All orders are Final upon release to common carrier service or pickup and removal from Chapter 4 facilities.
Cancellation | All Products
- Canceled orders are considered solely under Chapter 4 discretion.
- Alcohol order cancelation must comply with all CA Alcohol Beverage Control (ABC) and consumer law.
- Approved cancellations are subject to 15% processing fees, no exceptions.
- We do not accept cancellation for pre-paid Pre-Arrival (ie: Futures or "en primeur") items unless approved by Chapter 4.
- Delayed shipment is outside our control and is not adequate for cancellation or refund request. All customers are solely responsible for determining the manner in which alcoholic beverages may or may not be lawfully brought into their jurisdiction.
Returns | Long Term Storage Deposit
Deposits are refundable upon 7 business days from completion of shipment final order under storage plan. Learn More
Returns | Non-alcohol
- Item(s) must be approved for return prior to return shipment
- Item(s) must be unopened and in original packaging
- Buyer is responsible for return shipping charges
- In-Store returns for non-alcohol item(s) available. Receipt or order number required. Contact us in advance if proof of purchase is missing/lost.
Returns | Alcohol only
All Consumer Wine Sales are Final per California ABC Laws for retailers.
We do not accept returns or refunds for alcohol offerings - such products are sold AS-IS according to California ABC (Sec. 25600(a)(2)). We do not accept returns for pre-paid Pre-Arrival (ie: Futures or "en primeur") items. Non-alcohol regularly stocked products may be returned, in original condition, upon approval from Chapter 4, for refund less 15% processing fee.
In accordance with California ABC Laws, alcohol subscriptions products may be refunded for pending, unfulfilled portions of the subscription only.

Credit card processing fees are not refundable.

If the original charge underwent currency conversion, the refunded amount converts back using the same process.

We submit refund requests to your customer’s bank or card issuer. The customer sees the refund as a credit approximately 5-10 business days later, depending upon the bank.
