A distinctly ripe red and blue fruit and violet-infused nose gives way to somber and earthy flavors blessed with excellent concentration and punch on the firm but velvety finish supported by buried tannins and simply terrific length. Highly recommended. 04/2008 *Outstanding*

Very solid showing, if a bit foursquare. It's a Beaune 1er in a good spot for an '05. Actually, one of the better '05s I've had recently. Open, mostly fleshed out. Brush, soil, violets and dark cherry fruit. There is slight tightness yet on the palate. Good wine. 12/24/2025

Opened 6 hours in advance. Ruby. A little sweaty on the nose. Medium weight. Ripe, round black cherry attack, then soil, solid acidity, and substantial tannin. Cleaner than it seemed aromatically. This is easily approachable now yet at the front end of its drinking window. It reinforces my view of Teurons as one of the most serious, structured Beaune Premier Crus. 6/25/2023
