Dark raspberry and dried or perhaps macerated black cherry flavors. Assertive on the nose with spice, chalk, dark raspberry and alcohol. Crunchy tannins carry the dark red fruit flavors way into a finish that slowly fades. This is an incredible beauty.

Wine Group Dinner #208, Harvey's Bistro, Brisbane. This wine was decanted for 6 hours before dinner and remained dense and primary with a dark crimson colour and a lifted nose of dark cherries, espresso coffee, blackberries, cinnamon and thyme. The plate is beautifully rounded in the mouth yet very dense and primary. There is lovely length but lots of patience will be required to reveal this wine's full potential. Delicious regardless with spatchcock and a rich sauce. 6/11/2025
