Glorious bottle that kept evolving for over 24 hours. It's color sported crystalline garnet fading to brick to orange to clear at the edge. It's nose stayed pretty much the same, but closed up for several hours then opened back up to cherries, tar, bits of cherry apple pie with hints of cinnamon. Palate with lamb hid it's tarry flavors, but alone built a beautiful tar profile with yummy cherry/apple pie. Other fruit could be picked out too, such as blackberry and plums. At points there were hints of dried black fruits, cured meats, umami of sea minerals and asphalt. The sea minerals kept showing and gave lush tongue flow of beautiful power with gentleness. All along it was dry and tart of cherry. Joy to degust. 12/6/2018
