Chateau de Beau Soleil, Muscadet Sevre & Maine, Sur Lie 2018

The Chéneau family has lived here for over 250 years and owned the castle for almost 100 years. "The beautiful sun" lies on the south facing slopes facing the river and this wine hails from the family's oldest vines. The wine is matured on its lees or "sur lie" for a minimum of 6 months, but often longer, to preserve its pure aroma and taste. The wine is bottled on the domain - just 15,000 bottles in a good year are allowed to bear the fine name. The rest is sold as a 2nd wine. Silver medal at Nantes 2015 and gold in 2018.
