Domaine Moulinier, Saint Chinian, Les Sigillaires 2010
Fans of our under $20 selections or “wine kits” during the lockdown will recall this Domaine…we’re bringing it back as it was a tremendous value that delivers from even at 12+ years old!
From a relatively new estate that is rapidly garnering some serious fans among European wine critics, this blend of syrah, grenache and carignan offers tremendous bang for the buck, with overflowing flavors of blackberry, spice and chocolate, with very fresh crushed raspberry aromatics and a whiff of mineral at the end.

Everything about this wine is black and dark. In the nose hints of bitter chocolate, coffee and blackberries. On the palate very dark cherries. At first super closed upon opening it but it quickly opened up and just kept getting better over the course of drinking it, gaining in depth and smoothness. On the next day even smoother. Excellent. 7/22/2017
