The 2010 Patrick Piuze Chablis Grand Cru Bougros "Côte de Bouqueyreaux" is a rare, mineral-driven white Burgundy made from a very steep sub-parcel of the Bougros grand cru vineyard. Only a couple of producers, including Piuze and William Fèvre, historically bottled this specific sub-site.

Burgundy Dinner with Friends: A faint hint of botrytis adds intriguing complexity to this wine, but also still stands out a bit too much today. There is so much density here and so much concentration here that makes this easy to appreciate, just not yet tonight. If I owned a bottle, I'd cellar this until 2025 or longer, expecting/ hoping for great harmony/ integration than it showed tonight. 12/27/2021

*Don't Miss!* This was also aromatically difficult though it was due to the presence of intense reduction as the malos were late with this wine. There was by contrast excellent freshness and transparency to the intensely mineral-driven big-bodied yet refined flavors that possess excellent richness and flat out huge length on the palate staining finish. This appears to have superb underlying material and should make for a stunner of a wine in time. October 2011
