The 2023 Weingut Familie Hansruedi Adank Fläscher Pinot Noir "Alte Reben" is an exceptional, single-variety Swiss Pinot Noir hailing from Fläsch, a premier village in the Bündner Herrschaft district of Graubünden. Crafted by the father-and-son team of Hansruedi and Patrick Adank, this "Alte Reben" (Old Vines) bottling represents a highly nuanced, textured, and deeply chiseled expression of a world-class Swiss cool-climate terroir.

• Region: Fläsch, Bündner Herrschaft, Graubünden, Switzerland
• Terroir: The vineyards sit on steep slopes characterized by schistose, highly calcareous, and slightly loamy soils. This nutrient-poor limestone substrate forces the deep-rooted old vines to focus all their energy into microscopic, concentrated clusters.
• Viticulture: Certified organic farming, adhering to highly natural, low-intervention field management.

• Grape Variety: 100% Pinot Noir (selection of the estate's oldest vine plots).
• Vinification: Grapes are entirely hand-picked. Fermentation takes place using native yeasts in a combination of wooden barrels and stainless steel tanks, incorporating a short maceration period.
• Maturation: Aged for 10 months in large wooden casks (500L and 1500L foudres) alongside 3- to 4-year-old neutral French barriques. The wine is bottled unfiltered.
• Composition: 13.0% Alcohol by Volume (ABV).

• Aroma: A highly perfumed, elegant nose combining wild forest berries, dark sweet cherries, and red currants. The bright fruit layers are intertwined with integrated baking spices (clove), fine oak toast, and a signature smoky mineral nuance.
• Palate: Middleweight, juicy, and impeccably balanced. It features an energetic play between integrated, refreshing acidity and tight, exceptionally fine-grained, velvety tannins that provide a serious structural backbone.
• Finish: Powerfully long, savory, and clean, concluding with an animating, mouth-watering salinity and an elegant mineral trail.
