What I love about this Chardonnay: It’s not over oaked. It’s not malo-fermented into a tub of butter. It’s not a basket of tropical fruit. This is a terrifically balanced Chardonnay that has more in common with a Cru Chassagne-Montrachet, than it has with say Marcassin, Kistler, Aubert, or Kongsgaard. I enjoy this precisely because I can pair it with several meal types: from chicken soup to linguine alle vongole…it works with food, it doesn’t fight against it. This is a brilliant, crowd pleasing Chardonnay that works like your favorite wardrobe choices, reps well during the day and seamlessly transitioning to the nightlife.
