Alain Brumont is the man behind the Madiran appellation and deserves all the accolades as being the person to put this region on the map. He purchased this estate when he was in his early 30s (he's now almost 80) and has proven how the formidable grape of the region, Tannat, is age-worthy. This older vintage shows some evolution of secondary flavors with rustic red fruit, leather and olive notes.
