What always distinguishes our Stolpman syrah is its great textural quality. Lovely mouth coating tannins are its hallmark. The usual youthful reticence of Stolpman is replaced by a dynamic aroma of red fruits and an underlying toasty earthiness. This is one of the best Stolpman’s to date, and has the power to age gracefully for years.

A superb offering is the 2004 Syrah Stolpman. An inky/blue/purple color is accompanied by sweet blueberry and blackberry fruit notes intermixed with scents of smoke, charcoal, and flowers.
