Decanted for 5 hours. The nose evolved quite nicely in the decanter. Leather, charcoal, dark fruits, saddle and umami. On the palate much of the same - leather and umami. The finish and length just a tad bit clipped and lacking the depth I usually get from a great Barby or Barolo. Still, this was very nice and paired perfectly with pasta. (12/31/2017)
