The 2017 old vine bottling of Nuits AC is outstanding chez Chevillon, offering up an expressive and very pure bouquet of black cherries, sweet dark berries, raw cocoa, a superb base of dark soil tones, gamebird, woodsmoke and a discreet framing of vanillin oak. On the palate the wine is deep, full and nicely sappy at the core, with a soil-driven personality, ripe tannins and excellent focus and grip on the poised, complex and perfectly balanced finish.
