This is a bit of history in a bottle… 1995 Thackrey Orion California Red wine. A field blend from the Rossi Vineyard in St. Helena. Planted in 1905 to primarily Syrah but only the ghosts know what else. This magnum was incredibly fresh with primary muted red fruit, supple, sweet tannin, and a long finish. Sean was an amazing wine maker and I’m so pleased to be able to share his legacy with friends. 9/8/2022
