Very earthy and savory including aromas of mushroom, herbs and spice, a touch of sandalwood along with fruit aromatics of red currant and cranberry dried strawberry and raspberry. I suspect this is a tad bit past prime but it was nonetheless a fantastic showing of what mountain fruit can do to Pinot 6/18/2023

Consistent with last tasting. This time had with pan seared swordfish and porcini truffle ravioli with artichoke and pea Parmesan sauce. This wine is drinking at its peak and is incredibly versatile with a range of food. So enjoyable! 1/16/2023
