Veuve Clicquot celebrates its 250th anniversary. The year 2022 illustrates 250 years of history of unique know-how, a culture of innovation and an iconic yellow, which has been used on the labels of its bottles since 1877. To celebrate this milestone, the House is launching a new international advertising campaign , “250 of solar culture”, a contemporary interpretation of the brand's iconic yellow.
This cuvée is the result of a blending of grapes from as many as 50 to 60 different crus, and, is composed of up to 45% reserve wines. The Pinot Noir predominance provides its strength, while Chardonnay provides its freshness and a touch of Meunier its fruitiness. The ageing on lees during a minimum of 3 years enhances its aromatic richness and silky textur
This has aromas of grapefruit, citrus peel, quince, toast and almonds. It’s medium-bodied with creamy, fine tannins. Silky texture. Nutty complexity at the end.
Noticeable fruit intensity and fresh notes of red fruits, fresh blueberries and a small amount of quince. Interesting and quite demanding. Blend : 55% Pinot Noir, 15% Pinot Meunier, 30% Chardonnay
