Has full on aromas of earth, cedar, leather, smokey bacon. black olives, blackberries, earth, mint and garrigue infused forest fruits and light spice. Its solid medium to full bodied, chunky well oaked nicely peppery palate has almost outstanding depth and nice freshness. Ends mediumish with some gripping food friendly tannin. 13.5%. Superb value at 30 pounds. Needs 7-8 hrs aeration. Can be drunk now with a nice rare fillet steak or laid down 5-10 years to develop and become an easy 95. 4/23/2025

The finest vintage to date, better even than the stellar 2010, the 2015 Crozes-Hermitage Domaine De Thalabert is a gorgeous, deep, layered, and incredibly satisfying Crozes. Blackcurrants, olive tapenade, truffles and earthy notes all emerge from this full-bodied, gorgeously textured and seamless 2015. With fine tannin and no hard edge, it can be drunk today or cellaring for 15-20 years. 01/2018
