A big, full-bodied and slightly warm wine, the 2009 Cornas Empreintes boasts expressive, savory notes of roasted beef and plummy fruit. The tannins have softened, and the fruit seems to be evolving rapidly, so I would suggest drinking any remaining bottles over the next few years. (JC) (12/2019)
