Beautiful nose dark cherry, mushroom, ripe dark berries, plum, cedar and vanilla. Still incredibly fresh on the palate offering some stewed fruits, some chocolate and a lovely, wood-driven and mushroom depth. Walnut on the finish. I am aware this note is far more positive than the others here, but this impression was shared by the wider group. The wine was holding up excellently and showing real freshness and vibrancy still as well as complex flavours. Probably thanks to the perfect storage with Berry Bros. Very impressive! 3/14/2024
