Monthly Tasting Group HWS; Cornas (By JdB): Very dark red color. The bouquet shows dark berries, cherries, chocolate, mineral and rustic impressions; very beautiful. On the palate a classical northern Rhone, with dark and red berries like e.g. blackberries, mineral impressions, some cinnamon, toast and coffee, juicy acidity and still somewhat sticky tannin. Great length. This is a great, full bodied and opulent wine in its maturity stage and it will probably stay on this level for some years. 3/8/2023
