Super cool with the fine tannins and finesse and generally tight integration and mellow character of a Bordeaux, but absolutely the nose and flavors of a big California Cabernet. Feels like it’s a couple years past its peak but still strong. 1/26/2023

Absolutely perfect. The days when Napa icons were made with 12% alcohol. Perfect harmony of tanin, alcohol, fruit and acidity. Cloudy fig meet in colour. Has almost a fig like tropical nose. A little anise and flinty tones on the nose as well. Beautiful palate showing red fruit, cigar box and light coco flavours. While it is in equilibrium one feels it will be here for years to come, truly old school Napa Valley. I love it! 12/9/2021
