Two Hands, Adelaide Hills, Harriet's Garden, Shiraz 2019
説明
in Original Carton
HARRIET’S GARDEN is produced from our finest barrels of Adelaide Hills shiraz From the coolest part of the state as the weather rolls in off the Southern Ocean. The latest block to be brought to the winery, this is an elegant wine with a unique aromatic profile and tannin structure. A recent grape source from a vineyard next to Hope Forest, this is a site we harvest late, allowing slow development of ripeness and tannin. The moderating effect of the southern ocean in conjunction with the site’s elevation provides finer red fruit characteristics. The wine is named after Michael’s daughter, Harriet whose favourite colour is pink.
91 points Wine Companion, Tyson Stelzer
From 15–25yo vines at 400m elevation. A bright, crunchy, pretty and exotic Adelaide Hills shiraz which speaks more of judiciously managed whole-bunch fermentation than of variety or place. Potpourri, rosehip, Campari, spice market and incense bring exuberance to an elegantly framed, fine-boned style of bright, gentle red fruit tang, pulling up just a touch short. Tannin and acid define longevity. (February 2021)
