Silky, aromatic and expressive, the 2013 El Alma de Jonata graces the palate with exquisite finesse. The Cabernet Franc notes dominate, of course, but it is the wine's exceptional balance that is most remarkable. Sweet red cherry, plum, rose petal and mint shape the silky, perfumed finish. What a striking wine this is. The 2013 is 81% Cabernet Franc, 16% Cabernet Sauvignon, 2% Merlot and 1% Petit Verdot. 96+ (AG) (9/2016)
