This was a beauty when it came out and it still is. Screams Dujac even though it's the negoce label. Pours out a pale bricked crimson and already somehow features semi-mature aromas of broth and maple sap. It's feminine and silky with a flawlessly polished veneer that mostly glosses over the tannins, yet denser than my note of a few years ago indicates. The fruit echoes the development of the aromas with succulent, crimson-toned cranberries that have turned a little more sweet and a little less spicy over the last few years. (2/2021)
