Thomas’s Northern Rhone extravaganza (Cabotte): Although an excellent and extremely tasty wine, excitement levels were definitely dialled down after the preceding flight. Pretty well-developed on the nose, which was savoury and even truffley, then surprisingly bright and red-fruited on the palate. Likely some upside here. 4/5/2024
