Excellent representation of the vintage. True to its appellation this wine is in its old school, mature, tannic Burgundy phase. Aromas fully evolved and at peak drinkability. I specifically selected this wine to feature in a social media post discussing the surprising nature of how poorly the wine press reported on this harvest. Naddef's old vines prove once more to be a sleeper selection for informed, welcoming palates.

Low expectations for this village wine, but wow did this did not disappoint. It was definitely showing its aged fruit, but that was all held together with excellent acidity and lift. A special treat, especially for old wine fans. 11/26/2020

Wow. What a difference a year makes! Perfectly balanced, long finish, berries were now subdued and this wine had grown up into a beautiful woman from the geeky kid it had been in the past. 12/7/2010
