Domaine Pinson, Chablis, Les Clos 2017
Description
96 points Decanter
This is the less wooded of the two Les Clos bottlings from the Pinsons, but it's still quite a rich, powerful style. It's dense and complex, with notes of baking spices, subtle stone fruit and a saline, minerally flourish. (TA (7/2018)
95 points Vinous
The 2017 Chablis Les Clos Grand Cru is another gorgeous wine from Pinson. Shades of apricot, tangerine, floral-infused honey and mint add shades of dimension to a Clos that speaks to the essence of this famed Grand Cru. Aromatically explosive and wonderfully deep, the 2017 is so expressive and so inviting today. Time in the glass just brings out the wine's depth and layers. As good as the 2017 is now, my feeling is that it is still recovering from its bottling, about five months before this tasting. (AG) 95+ (1/2020)
