A little stinky on opening, but that blew off over the course of a ~2hr decant. Lovely texture, dark fruit. After another 90 minutes, the tannins reasserted themselves. Can certainly be drunk with pleasure now, especially with a decant. Not a great deal of secondary development at this point. I suspect this will be extremely long lived and improve for at least the next decade, if not longer. 5/10/2023

This was very similar to the 08 from the same vineyard and Producer but it had that little bit more concentration, freshness and life to it. Both magical but the 05 was sublime. I think it drinks well now. No need to wait. 12/19/2022
