Biondi Santi Masterclass. Very cold vintage when the river freezed during winter. The wine has very high acidity and appears to be very closed after 5 hours bottle decanting. Elegance is the key word for this wine with pronounced flavour intensity and long finish. However, it just refuses to open up until the very end of the tasting. A mysterious wine that is hard to comprehend and difficult to grasp the best moment. It’s said it may need another 5-10 years to reveal itself…95+pts (12/17/2022)
