The 2013 Blanc Fume de Pouilly Pur Sang is certainly outstanding, yet hard to justify at the price it goes for in the market. It offers lots of Sauvignon notes of green citrus and grapefruit, as well as medium-bodied richness, impressive amounts of sweet fruit, juicy, vibrant acidity, and a good finish. (12/2017)

Bright greenish-yellow color. Complex, ripe aromas of citrus fruits, mango, woodsmoke and dried flowers. Expansive and strikingly powerful, with underlying salinity giving spine to the sweet orange flavor. Gains flesh and power on the middle palate and finishes with a splash of dusty minerals.
