We decanted for about 30 minutes before pouring. Deep dark ruby red color. Great nose with essence of figs, toast, licorice, coffee and chocolate. Probably at its peak or just beyond but great layers of ripe red fruit, cassis, plums, dried figs, chocolate and mint. Great balance of tannins and acidity. 8/5/2015

Wonderful wine. Great nose from the time the bottle was opened. Ripe fruit, figs,cocoa, coffee, black licorice and toast. Deep dark purple. Great mouthfeel with soft tannins and just enough acidity to accentuate complex layers of cassis, black currant, dried figs, toast and cinnamon. 4/8/2015
