After slow-oxing for 5 hours prior to serving, the reduction has blown off. The Charmes has blossomed into signature Dujac spice, violets, red fruit and perfume. It has excellent transperency. It is so pretty, layered and weightless. 94+ 12/14/2022

First single blind with the 2005, 2009, and 2014, this and the 2014 were the better wines. Next against 2012 Grivot Beau Monts, Ponsot Chambolle Charmes, and Mortet Lavaux St Jacques, again this wins. The haunting nose of black cherry black berry and pomegranate mixes with sexy stems to deliver Dujac star power. Perhaps my complaint might be that it doesn’t evolves and vary with the complexity of the 2014, but what a nose it is! Perhaps more complexity with come in time buts it’s easy to love this now. The darkness of the fruit really stands out in Dujac Charmes in comparison to his Clos de la Roche. 11/19/2020
