A very nice bottle which shows that this wine is cruising along at a plateau of goodness right now. Started out with a funky note which disappeared quickly, it has a light body supported by fine acids and few tannins, with elegant leafy notes. Integrated flavors with some light tobacco and vegetal notes, this is good with a steak to counteract the fatty affect. Good to drink right now; won’t go downhill soon. 10/3/2025

Elegant and finesse driven (a hallmark of the estate), with beautiful violet, iron, smoked meat, peppercorn, and spiced red fruits, the 2006 Domaine Jasmin Côte-Rôtie comes from 11 different plots that are spread across the appellation. Showing the more delicate side of both the region, and vintage, this fleshes out with air, showing a medium bodied, silky personality, juicy acidity, and a powerful, long finish that has you coming back for another sip. Delicious now, and hard to put down, I would consume bottle over the coming 10-12 years. 03/2011
