This is much more youthful on the nose than the '88, and has a fuller colour, with fragrant plum and dried hedgerow fruit aromas joined by fresh tobacco and wood. On the palate there's a violet tinge to the fresh, lifted hedgerow and cherry fruit. Vibrant, with finely-laced acidity. (JB)  03/2018
