Disgorged: July 2020; Dosage: 3g/L [blend of all vintages since 2006]

The Moncuit roots run deep in the Côte des Blancs. The family first purchased land back in 1889 and began estate-bottling almost 40 years later. Current winemaker and fourth-generation Pierre Amillet’s passion for Chardonnay and the region’s signature chalky soils knows no limits. This barrel fermented Blanc de Blancs is aged under cork before disgorgement and sees no dosage. Dry, toasty, and textured, this bottle screams luxury

97 points Wine Advocate

The citrus-golden NV Blanc de Blancs Grand Cru Extra Brut Réserve Perpétuelle offers a fantastic nose with great purity, finesse, elegance and a beautiful mix of Chardonnay chalk, yeast and oxidation. Very intense but always pure and precise. Intense and lush on the palate but also pure, tight and mineral, with chalky finesse and great tension, this cuvée reveals some fascinating matured fruit and wine flavors. The finish is lush and generous but precise, finessed and elegant, leaving the tongue with great tension, grip and structure. A great wine indeed. Tasted in January 2019.
