From 2 bottles at TdA, this wine had a light gold color and clear rims. The high intensity nose generated fresh apricot, citrus, petroleum jelly, and mineral notes.
In the mouth, this wine developed extremely well and was rich and ripe with huge length. It seemed to be bigger and richer than all the other high-power whites on the table!
When this wine has been stored well it is a great white that can power to awesome heights with air. 11/17/2023

Taste was from a 375, in perfect condition and I venture to say very well cared for because the wine was a baby relatively. The cork came out in one piece with a Durand. I respectfully took a small pour. The color was very pale golden and belied its age. I thought it was served slightly warm although it was tight initially, after 10 minutes in the glass began to develop a wonderful lingering aroma. Spring flowers and fresh baked donuts came to mind. The balance struck me the most as there was a lot of nuances playing nicely together here but nothing overpowered. More bakery stuff going on with a delightfully structured mouthfeel and texture that you find in only the greatest wines. I was able to get a second small pour and realized we didn't allow this to breathe nearly enough. The expansive aroma and flavor was just wow, and I believe there was more in reserve. Anyone who has some in their cellar are fortunate and in for magnificent experience if their bottle is a good as this one. 7/18/2024
